Lee and Richard from Mareeba were also married in Port Douglas yesterday at the St Mary's By the Sea chapel.

I did makeup for Lee, her two bridesmaids, her mum and the best man who was in fact a woman!

Wedding Dramas!

Alicia and Johhny were married today at St Mary's By the Sea Chapel in Port Douglas.

But the day wasn't without its dramas!

The bridal party is staying at the exclusive Bali Hai Retreat in the rainforest north of Mossman.

This morning the catering truck for their wedding reception took a turn for the worst and rolled off the road and down an embankment before coming to rest in a cane paddock...

The driver was taken to Mossman Hospital...



While the rest of the catering crew continued setting up under the marquee.

Unfortunately, the Emergency Department at Mossman Hospital is a venue which this bridal party from Brisbane and Sydney is fast becoming familiar with.

Earlier today one of Alicia's bridesmaids was anxiously awaiting news after her partner tripped over and had to be taken to the hospital for stitches. Could anything else go wrong! Let's hope not.

At least the hair and makeup went well...

All seven women looked fabulous and despite the day's drama, Alicia was the absolute picture of perfection and remained completely calm throughout.

Model Shoot

Indy model Chenoa has just moved to Cairns and she booked me to do her makeup for a studio photoshoot on the weekend. 

The best image will feature as a poster which is going to be sold and distributed across Australia.

I'll be sure to share the professional shots once I have them.

Teanna Williams

I met Teanna Williams in Port Douglas this morning.

The bride and five of her closest friends travelled up from Melbourne and all the way across the Tasman from NZ to share the special day.

Teanna chose a "natural" makeup look for her bridesmaids as the wedding was taking place outdoors at the Sheraton.

Anita and Dave

Anita and Dave tied the knot in Cairns on Saturday the 28th of August.

Karen Azzopardi's Wedding Day

Well the big day has arrived and bride-to-be Karen Azzopardi looks absolutely beautiful!

We were all up bright and early to start the makeup at 7.30am . . . by 11am five women had been transformed.

Amy Adams is the photographer and she takes some great shots so I'll be sure to put the professional photos up once Amy emails them through to me.

Anette and Colin

Married on the beach at the Sea Temple in Port Douglas today, Anette and Colin are enjoying the luxury of the resort as they take a well earned break from their remote cattle station out west.

Anette has amazing eyes and lots of lovely long lashes so it didn't take much to make her look stunning.

 

Colin's lovely daughters made up the bridal party.
