Kate's Palm Cove Wedding Day

Originally from Cairns, Kate travelled back to her home town from Bowen for a tropical beach wedding on the golden sand at Palm Cove.

Kate met us a few weeks before her wedding for a Cairns makeup and hair trial in the city where we transformed her locks into soft blonde beachy curls and smoked her eyes with some natural brown tones (and just a hint of bronze!) to really pop her beautiful big green eyes.

The sun shone on Kate’s wedding day as we worked throughout the morning doing makeup and hair for her beautiful sisters who were to be Kate’s bridesmaids, her mum and mother-in-law as well as her gorgeous little flowergirl and some wedding guests. It was a lovely relaxed day of laughter and excitement in the comfort of Kate’s resort room at Reef House Palm Cove.

After we left, Cairns wedding photographer Nathan Kelly arrived to spend the rest of the day with the couple and their family and friends, capturing some very special memories of a wonderful celebration of love and life long commitment.

Candice and Ed tie the knot at Palm Cove in Cairns

Originally from Australia but now living in the UK, physical education teacher Candice brought her beau Ed 16,500 kilometres to the sandy shores of Palm Cove Beach, just north of Cairns, to tell him she wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

We met the couple a few days before the wedding to do a hair and makeup trial for Candice so that we could work out the type of look she was after and we all just clicked.

Having had the pre-wedding catch-up, the day itself went like clockwork as we provided makeup and hair at the Sea Temple Resort for Candice’s mum, her sister, Ed’s mum and then finally our beautiful bride.

Tracey from Azure Photography arrived just as we were leaving and Candice was slipping into her dress so we didn’t get a chance to fully appreciate the final result but the photos below are outstanding!

Liz and Charles say I Do at Palm Cove Beach Cairns

Liz was super organised when it came to her tropical destination wedding at Palm Cove and she knew she wanted to book a Cairns mobile hair and makeup artist for her big day.

Almost 12 months before her wedding day Liz sent us an email to book a hair and makeup trial while she was visiting Cairns with her Maid of Honour.

From the moment we met, we knew Liz’s wedding day was going to be loads of fun and the big day didn’t disappoint!

The makeup and hair trial put everyone at ease and gave us time to perfect the look Liz wanted for her special day.

We are a two person beauty team consisting of a makeup artist and a hair stylist and we traveled to Liz’s hotel resort room at Sea Temple Palm Cove on her wedding day so that she could relax in comfort and style while we pampered her and the entire bridal party.

With six makeup and five hair to do it was a productive morning full of fun, laughs and the most amazing home made red velvet sponge cake with jam and cream!
